Freelance Junior 3D Renderer / Architectural Visualizer

We are looking for a Freelance Junior 3D Renderer / Architectural Visualizer with strong rendering skills to join ESI Design on a short-term freelance basis. This is an on-site position. The role will work specifically to support the Physical design department on varying project types (including museums, corporate, events and retail). The primary role of the Renderer is to create architectural visualization – 3D modeling, renderings and drawings. The designer must be proficient in setting up lighting, environments and texture-mapping architectural materials in Rhino 3D and Sketch-Up and be able to render with V-Ray.

You are:

  • Attentive to detail
  • Able to manage timeline hours and able to work on tight timelines
  • A team player with strong communication skills, both verbal and written. You’re able to take creative direction and apply feedback into visual form.
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • A Rhino/V-Ray guru. You’re proficient in 3D modeling, texture-mapping, lighting and creating beautiful renderings in Rhino 3D / V-Ray. Knowledge of Grasshopper a plus!
  • Well-versed and quick in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Proficient with Windows
  • Knowledgeable of architectural materials, interior and furniture design
