SEGD Xlab 2019: The Future of Experience & Place
Posted October 14, 2019
Experiential graphic design is often the string that ties people and places together. Each year, the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) hosts Xlab, a two day event focused on the future of experience and place. Based in Brooklyn, Xlab includes experiential tours, sweeping surveys of the experience design landscape, and deep dives into case studies and design methodologies.
As a part of SEGD Xlab 2019, ESI Design is participating in three events exploring experience design’s role in connecting people with places: a design talk and tour of our studio, a fireside chat with our founder Edwin Schlossberg on the present state of experience design showcasing the Statue of Liberty Museum, and a talk on creating generative and data-driven environments.
The Present State of Experiential Design
Learn about the leading edge of experience design through the lens of our founder, Edwin Schlossberg, who is a pioneer of interactive design. Edwin will discuss our latest work designing the experience and exhibits for the new Statue of Liberty Museum, in conversation with Debbie Millman, the host of the podcast Design Matters.
